Casa Jablitos

The house is situated in an absolutely unique location. At the southern tip of the island of La Palma, it rises high above the ocean and the expansive volcanic landscape with a vast view to the sea. All around there are vineyards of the world famous Malvasia. The house was selected as a fine example of the pilot project Turismo Rural for sustainable tourism and was restored in line with the original designs and materials. On a surface of 70 m², it offers one bedroom with windows to two sides and an amazing view as well as a cosy living area with integrated kitchen, dining table and sofa bed. Satellite TV and stereo system are available. The rooms have beautiful wooden floors and wood-beamed ceilings. There is a breathtaking panoramic view toward the ocean from the romantic wooden benches inside the windows. Jesus, the host, created various cosy sitting areas for his guests, cut out of the lava rocks. Also the covered cistern and an old, round threshing floor offer a wonderful view, and in the evening, when sitting on the bench in front of the house, one enjoys a sunset the likes of which one will not find anywhere else. The medlar tree yields an opulent amount of fruit.
